I am an "overcomer" by the grace of God!  I've worked as a Social Worker, Teacher, and Mentor most of my life, yet I love being a Mom to 6 adult children and a Grandma to 2 grandchildren so far.  In 2015, I came to MOR with issues I did not understand and were impacting my life.  Through this ministry I have gained the tools to address my fears and hurts.  The Victory and Freedom to "Stand Strong" in Christ, is my lifestyle now.  For this, I am truly Grateful to Our Lord Jesus!

Psalms 91:1-16 (NLT) "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.  This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God and I trust Him...When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation."

I was introduced to MOR in 2012. I was ministering to young women and someone told me MOR might be a good resource to refer women to, who were feeling stuck spiritually, or who were struggling with past hurts.  I decided I would go through the ministry first to understand it better and be able to discern who could best be helped by utilizing the ministry.  I had no idea the freedom I would experience as I released lies, walked through forgiveness and confronted strongholds.  My life, and in particular, my marriage completely changed after going through the ministry.  I have been a prayer partner ever since, and use many of MOR's tools as I teach in prison ministry or walk along side young women in a mentoring relationship.

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which He prepared in advance for us to do."

I was introduced to MOR through a newspaper article. Honestly, I had no idea what I was signing up for, I just felt led by God to go through the program.  I spent over 40 years living around those with addictions, I had no idea that I was in bondage or that I had strongholds due to this environment.  I had spent years jumping from various self help books, bible studies, nutrition classes etc., trying to find peace and balance in my spirit, soul (mind), and body.  After going through MOR, I was able to find what I was looking for - Freedom in Christ, and and a more balanced life.

A mentor introduced me to MOR.  At the time, I was experiencing feelings of fear, disappointment, and discouragement.  During my sessions at the ministry, I realized that some of my core beliefs about my significance, peace, and identity were being driven by the culture rather than the Word of God.  I learned how to realign  myself with my Identity in Christ, and use many practical tools to replace the world's lies with God's Truth.  I am learning to trust that God is the source and provider for all of my needs.

Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will."

I came to MOR in 2013 seeking help for depression, anxiety, and insecurity issues that I had been carrying around for years. These issues became deeper after my diagnosis with breast cancer in 2012. I gave everything over to Christ in that moment. MOR helped me immensely in providing the tools I needed to overcome my anxiety, my depression, and to always trust in my Lord and Savior! I am happy to be cancer free for four years now. God is good! The verse I leaned on then and now:

Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I went through this Ministry in 2018, I met two beautiful prayer ministers as well as the healing love of Jesus and I do not have enough line space to justly describe it.  I found many opportunities at this ministry to learn, grow and get to know some beautiful people through this ministry.  Through this ministry God has opened my eyes, expanded my heart and showed me purpose for my pain and I am eternally grateful.  Besides working to advance God's kingdom, I am a small business owner and teach classes.  The Lord gave me this scripture to describe my experience at MOR.

Psalm 23:1-6 KJV "The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.  He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for though art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Though preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: though anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

I went through ministry back in 2004. It 's amazing to me how the Lord opened my eyes to the sin and tremendous strongholds in my life, and to what hurt, pain and not forgiving does. He is continuing to work through things in my life as I continue to draw near to Him. Being a part of this ministry has allowed me to look deeper at how I've treated others and myself.  Helping a client to forgive, tear down strongholds and walk out the door brighter than when they walked in encourages me to thank Jesus for such a gift of salvation and the privilege to serve others in His name.

Proverb 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight."

I went through Ministry of Reconciliation in the late of 2013, and one of my favorite take a ways is praying a blessing over others.  Giving up my old gunny sack of strongholds, unforgiveness, and bitterness to the Lord through this ministry has brought me closer to Him.  To now share time and pray alongside those going through MOR is a major highlight.

Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to this?  If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Isaiah 41:31 "...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

After being a client of MOR in 2017, I left with a knowledge of who I am in Christ, and found a level of freedom that I had not experienced before.  Seeing how God spoke to me through MOR convinced me that I wanted to help others through the ministry process.  I have done this through serving as a prayer minister and as a member of the MOR Board of Directors.  My wife Amy and I have two kids, and vocationally I have served in Executive positions in Operations and Sales.

Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid or terrified becuase of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you."

I currently also host on-air special events for radio clients around the country. I am also a certified life coach, and have had many opportunities to do public speaking.

I went through MOR as a client with Marlis and Carolyn. I have been a prayer minister for MOR for four years  I am also now serving on MOR's Board of Directors.

Jeremiah 29:11 " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

I was introduced to MOR by my wife, who has flourished in the ministry since 2013.  I have served as a prayer minister, and have been amazed at the power of God's work at MOR with our clients.  I am a retired 22 year veteran of the Air Force, and have over 2,000 flight hours and 42 combat missions over Iraq as an F-16 Fighter pilot, yet none of that compares to the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I'm very blessed to be surrounded by so many talented people on the board of directors at MOR, all serving God's will in their lives.

Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.  Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

“I have served in inner healing ministries since 1995, most of that time with MOR. I love watching God minister His truth and healing to others. As a retired school teacher, I use my teaching gift and experience in equipping clients and training MOR’s prayer ministers. I also love encouraging people to spend more time in God’s Word and prayer, which are foundational to maintaining the Christian life.”
