A mentor introduced me to MOR.  At the time, I was experiencing feelings of fear, disappointment, and discouragement.  During my sessions at the ministry, I realized that some of my core beliefs about my significance, peace, and identity were being driven by the culture rather than the Word of God.  I learned how to realign  myself with my Identity in Christ, and use many practical tools to replace the world's lies with God's Truth.  I am learning to trust that God is the source and provider for all of my needs.

Romans 12:1-2 "Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will."

I came to MOR in 2013 seeking help for depression, anxiety, and insecurity issues that I had been carrying around for years. These issues became deeper after my diagnosis with breast cancer in 2012. I gave everything over to Christ in that moment. MOR helped me immensely in providing the tools I needed to overcome my anxiety, my depression, and to always trust in my Lord and Savior! I am happy to be cancer free for four years now. God is good! The verse I leaned on then and now:

Philippians 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

I went through ministry back in 2004. It 's amazing to me how the Lord opened my eyes to the sin and tremendous strongholds in my life, and to what hurt, pain and not forgiving does. He is continuing to work through things in my life as I continue to draw near to Him. Being a part of this ministry has allowed me to look deeper at how I've treated others and myself.  Helping a client to forgive, tear down strongholds and walk out the door brighter than when they walked in encourages me to thank Jesus for such a gift of salvation and the privilege to serve others in His name.

Proverb 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight."

Jennifer Welcome

I went through Ministry of Reconciliation in the late of 2013, and one of my favorite take a ways is praying a blessing over others.  Giving up my old gunny sack of strongholds, unforgiveness, and bitterness to the Lord through this ministry has brought me closer to Him.  To now share time and pray alongside those going through MOR is a major highlight.

Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to this?  If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Isaiah 41:31 "...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

I am first and foremost a proud mother of four children, ages 11,13,19 and 20, and am homeschooling the two youngest. I have lived radio for twenty years, specializing in talk show radio hosting, music radio announcing, broadcast fundraising and talent coaching. I have also worked in television news as a producer and news anchor. I do much on-air work--voice spots, liners, commercials and production for many national radio clients and international organizations. I currently also host on-air special events for radio clients around the country. I am also a certified life coach, and have had many opportunities to do public speaking.

I went through MOR as a client with Marlis and Carolyn. I have been a prayer minister for MOR for four years  I am also now serving on MOR's Board of Directors.

Jeremiah 29:11 " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

John Shrewsbury- Vice President

I was introduced to MOR by my wife, who has flourished in the ministry since 2013.  I have served as a prayer minister, and have been amazed at the power of God's work at MOR with our clients.  I am a retired 22 year veteran of the Air Force, and have over 2,000 flight hours and 42 combat missions over Iraq as an F-16 Fighter pilot, yet none of that compares to the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. I'm very blessed to be surrounded by so many talented people on the board of directors at MOR, all serving God's will in their lives.

Ephesians 4:31-32 "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.  Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."

“I have served in inner healing ministries since 1995, most of that time with MOR. I love watching God minister His truth and healing to others. As a retired school teacher, I use my teaching gift and experience in equipping clients and training MOR’s prayer ministers. I also love encouraging people to spend more time in God’s Word and prayer, which are foundational to maintaining the Christian life.”

Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
