Bill Kulus- Director

Bill Kulus has assumed strong roles in MOR from its beginning, including organizing work details and being on the Advisory Board. Bill served the Lord at MOR alongside his wife Marlis who founded MOR. For many years he has kept a steady schedule filled with helping family, friends, and ministries with logistical and facilities support.

Bill has served the Lord at Friendship Church, in Haiti, in Canada, in prison ministry, and locally in weekly food distribution to folks in need.

Prior to MOR, Bill worked as part of the volunteer team for Apple Retreat Ministries and Growth in Grace. He's gifted with creative woodworking projects and keeping a large vegetable garden; and as time allows, he can be found at his north woods hide-away.

Favorite verse: Psalm 117

Christy Shrewsbury-

I came to MOR in 2013 seeking help for depression, anxiety, and insecurity issues that I had been carrying around for years. These issues became deeper after my diagnosis with breast cancer in 2012. I gave everything over to Christ in that moment. MOR helped me immensely in providing the tools I needed to overcome my anxiety, my depression, and to always trust in my Lord and Savior! I am happy to be cancer free for four years now. God is good! The verse I leaned on then and now:

Philippians 4:13 NKJV : " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Herald Johnson- Treasurer/Director

Herald Johnson  retired from Augsburg College as Director of Financial Aid in 2006 after serving 38 years there. He has also given financial aid night presentations to students and parents at high schools, community education centers, and churches . Herald is a graduate of Augsburg College with a major in History and minor in Philosophy.

Therefore since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that lies before us,

2 keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of God's throne.  Heb 12:1-2

Stephanie Welter-

I am first and foremost a proud mother of four children, ages 11,13,19 and 20, and am homeschooling the two youngest. I have lived radio for twenty years, specializing in talk show radio hosting, music radio announcing, broadcast fundraising and talent coaching. I have also worked in television news as a producer and news anchor. I do much on-air work--voice spots, liners, commercials and production for many national radio clients and international organizations. I currently also host on-air special events for radio clients around the country. I am also a certified life coach, and have had many opportunities to do public speaking.

I went through MOR as a client with Marlis and Carolyn. I have been a prayer minister for MOR for four years  I am also now serving on MOR's Board of Directors.

Jeremiah 29:11 " 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

Bob Wiley- Director

I went through ministry and after realizing the potential of the counseling sessions experienced a real breakthrough in my spiritual journey.  I retired from 32 years of teaching music in Minnesota and Colorado.  Marlis asked me to be a prayer partner and I have been doing that for the past 12 years. When God calls, He doesn't ask if we are prepared, but are we available. God is sovereign and He is in control. That's the truth of the Bible and the only guide book needed.

Favorite Verse: Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord."

Renee Mlynek-

I went through ministry back in 2004. It 's amazing to me how the Lord opened my eyes to the sin and tremendous strongholds in my life, and to what hurt, pain and not forgiving does. He is continuing to work through things in my life as I continue to draw near to Him. Being a part of this ministry has allowed me to look deeper at how I've treated others and myself.  Helping a client to forgive, tear down strongholds and walk out the door brighter than when they walked in encourages me to thank Jesus for such a gift of salvation and the privilege to serve others in His name.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight."

-Prov 3:5-6

Jennifer Welcome-

I went through Ministry of Reconciliation in the late of 2013, and one of my favorite take a ways is praying a blessing over others.  Giving up my old gunny sack of strongholds, unforgiveness, and bitterness to the Lord through this ministry has brought me closer to Him.  To now share time and pray alongside those going through MOR is a major highlight.

"What, then, shall we say in response to this?  If God is for us, who can be against us?"  -Romans 8:31

"...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  - Isaiah 41:31

Jason Rich-

I came to Faith in Jesus at the age of 15. After following hard after God for several years, I began compromising my relationship with Jesus, fell away from faith and ran from Him. But God pursued me and restored me to Himself. Since then, He has taught me much in my relationship with Him.

After going through a devastating divorce several years ago, I received ministry through MOR. I was parenting four wonderful children and needed freedom from things that kept me back from God. During the sessions we were able to identify many strongholds and lies I believed about myself. God used MOR to free me! I now live a victorious life in Christ; it completely transformed my life. It so impacted me that I just have to share this with others. I have volunteered for four years now.

God has totally blessed me with a rewarding new marriage with my wife Nancy, and He expanded our family with a new daughter for us to raise along with our other two daughters and two sons. We praise Him together!

I am employed as a mobile cardiac sonographer for Minneapolis Heart Institute, and also in the process of being ordained as a pastor through Miracles in the Marketplace International.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." - John 14:6

Julie O'Connell-

MOR has been a true miracle for me. I came to MOR to seek solace and understanding when my brother committed suicide. But, MOR taught me so much more. MOR lead me to adhere to my favorite scripture:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

-Proverbs 3:5-6

Carolyn has served in Inner Healing ministries for over 21  years, and has loved watching God minister His truth and healing to others. She has spent ten of those years at MOR. Now, as a retired school teacher, she uses her teaching  gift and experience  in equipping clients and training MOR’s Prayer Ministers.  Her prayer is that MOR will continue to impact many as the word spreads.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
